On Wednesday, Ryan McCartan revealed that he and Dove Cameron have shockingly split! NOOOOO! The Rocky Horror Picture Show star took to Twitter to announce that the Disney darling had pulled the plug on their engagement.
The 23-year-old explained:
Dove has decided this relationship isn’t what she wants. We still love each other very much. Please be sensitive, as this is painful.

So sad! We can’t help but wonder why the Hairspray Live! actress wanted out of the relationship.
Whatever the reason, it seems like Ryan’s pretty beat up about the big breakup, considering fans have pointed out that he’s no longer following his former flame or her mom, Bonnie Wallace, on Instagram.
The youngsters first got together while filming their Disney Channel show Liv & Maddie a few years ago. They’ve since formed the musical duo The Girl and the Dreamcatcher.
Sadly, we’re guessing their joint music ventures are no more, especially since the blonde changed her IG bio from “The Girl” and Ryan changed his from “The Dreamcatcher.”
Not to mention, they both appeared to be hinting at a split earlier this week with these somber posts:
