Disneyland May Be The Happiest Place On Earth, But Is It Haunted? Looks Like It

Disneyland is known as one of the happiest places on earth, but there are dark sides.

Disney theme parks have been the inspiration for (and unauthorized locations of) horror movies, and websites like The Ghost Diaries think that there’s more fact than fiction to the paranormal whispers surrounding their beloved attractions.

One source of speculation is the underground tunnel system used by cast members that connects all of Disneyland. Another is the prevalence of ashes spread by loved ones, especially on rides like the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. Beyond speculation, however, there is also spooky video evidence of ghosts in Disneyland.

It’s shaky at first, but stick with it and you might see what appears to be a ghostly presence strolling through the park’s streets late at night.

Another video shows a paranormal figure watching the famous fireworks from atop a castle turret.

And this one shows a maintenance worker who’s not quite alone in the Tower of Terror. (Don’t worry if you don’t see it right away. The video will point out the ghost.)

Maybe they’re the happiest ghosts on earth, too. What do you think? Could Disneyland be haunted?

Kevin Hart to play Santa Claus in Disney film

Comedian to take on part of Father Christmas in Dashing Through the Snow, a family comedy about an overworked New York policeman

Comedian Kevin Hart is set to take on the role of Santa Claus in a new Christmas film made by Disney.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film will be produced by Will Packer, who has worked with Hart on the successful Ride Along franchise.

Disney is bringing back ‘Muppet Babies’

(CNN)The Muppet Babies are returning to TV for more make-believe adventures.

Disney has announced it has begun production on a reimagined version of the classic kid series. The series, which will be CG animated, is slated to air in 2018 on Disney Junior.
“Bringing ‘Muppet Babies’ to Disney Junior is a wonderful opportunity to reach a new generation of viewers and to creatively build on the innovative original series,” said Debbie McClellan, vice president of The Muppets Studio, in a statement. “We hope to engage and delight the nostalgic fans while also entertaining new kids, parents and diverse audiences through heart and humor as only the Muppets can deliver.”
The original series — “Jim Henson’s Muppet Babies” — ran for seven seasons from 1984-91 on CBS. The animated show followed Kermit the Frog, Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and their other pint-sized Muppet pals as they went on imaginary adventures within the walls of their playroom.
Disney acquired the rights to the Muppets in 2004.
The new show, geared toward children ages 4-7, is a co-production between Disney Junior, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media’s Content & Media group, and The Muppets Studio.
The return of “Muppet Babies” continues the trend of networks and studios digging into their content vaults to find shows with nostalgia value.
Disney is set to premiere a new version of “DuckTales” in 2017. Nickelodeon has a TV movie based on the “Legends of the Hidden Temple” premiering in November, a “Hey, Arnold” TV movie in 2017, and a TV special based on classic ’90s animated program, “Rocko’s Modern Life” in the works.
Netflix, meanwhile, premiered “Voltron: Legendary Defender,” based on the ’80s cartoon, over the summer.

College Boys Suddenly Line Up In The Cafeteria, Then Start Belting Out A Disney Classic

Anyone who attended college knows that anything can happen in those four years.

With so many people crammed into one campus, and all of them experiencing this type of freedom for the very first time, there is craziness all around at each and every moment.

Whenthe students at Belmont University in Nashville, TN, heard the beginnings of aflash mob at their Spring Pancake Night, they were more entertained than surprised. It is, after all, a land with very few adults around to tell you “no.”

So if you feel like dancing your way across chairs and weaving through your classmates while singing a Disney classic, well, that’s quite alright.

And that’s exactly what the Belmont Flashmobbers did, and it was so much fun to watch!

The students eachsang their own part of a Disney mashup and some even showed off their best dance moves for their peers. We’re looking at you, guy who stepped out of the chorus line during theMulanportion.

The students were loving the performance. Who doesn’t appreciate some good, old-fashioned entertainment while enjoying a warm stack of pancakes in the dining hall?

It’s an awesome show put on by some very talented flash-mobbers. Hopefully they made their way to the pancakes as a reward for all their hard work!

PleaseSHAREthis incredible performance with everyone you know!

Disney’s Lucasfilm Suing Lightsaber Training Schools

The Force just isn’t strong enough at two New York-based Star Wars-themed schools.

Lucasfilm, which has been owned by the Walt Disney Company since 2012, a, is suing the operators of two programs that teach students how to use lightsabers and act like true Jedi warriors.

At the New York Jedi School, students can take part in the best light saber choreo classes anywhere on the East Coast, while the Lightsaber Academy, a San Francisco based enterprise started the Jedi School’s Flynn Michael. offers certification for individuals aiming to be a Lightsaber Instructor.

But Disney says neither of these programs is on par with its real Jedi masters and, more importantly, they’re infringing on one of the world’s most recognized brands.

In a complaint filed in a California federal court Friday, Lucasfilm alleges that the defendants at the schools used the companys trademarks without permission. The suit also claims that the New York school applied to register trademarks for New York Jedi and that their Light Saber Academy logo looks too similar to the one already trademarked by the film company.

The defendants say they have repeatedly attempted to obtain Lucasfilms approval to use the trademarked terms but those requests were denied, the complaint said. Lucasfilm also claimed to have sent multiple cease-and-desist demands to the NY Jedi School. According to the suit, both of the trademark applications were filed after the Disney-owned company served the defendants with a request to stop using the trademarked terms.

Lucasfilm is seeking an injunction stopping the defendants from using the marks, orders to destroy all infringing materials, a transfer of the allegedly offending URLs to Lucasfilm and a withdrawal of all related trademark applications. The company is also demanding up to $2 million in statutory damages for each trademark that was infringed upon.

    But don’t despair, young Padawans.

Official Jedi Training is available for preschoolers, kids and young adults at Walt Disney World. In Disney’s programs, students learn how to use the Forceand their witto wield lightsabers.

For older pupils who want to wield the Force’s most iconic weaponry, Disney recently filed a patent that could make Star Wars lightsabers a reality. The park is currently building 14-acre Star Wars theme parks at Disney World and Disneyland and its application for an Audience Interaction Projection System implies that visitors at the new parks could experience a hyper realistic lightsaber experience.

The empire strikes back: Disney to sue school that teaches lightsaber skills

Subsidiary Lucasfilm is filing a lawsuit against LightsaberAcademy.com for trademark infringement and unfair competition

Lucasfilm, a subsidiary of Disney, is filing a lawsuit against a school that teaches students how to use lightsabers.

The company is suing Michael Brown, who runs a number of businesses, such as New York Jedi, but the documents target LightsaberAcademy.com, billed as a consortium for academic, stage combat and sport dueling lightsaber instructors.

Defendants regularly use the Lucasfilm Trademarks without authorization in connection with their businesses, the complaint reads. Among other infringing activities, Defendants use a logo that is nearly identical, and confusingly similar, to Lucasfilms trademark Jedi Order logo round in shape, with six wing-like shapes curving upward (three per side), and an eight-pointed star featuring elongated top and bottom points stretched into a vertical line.

There have been a number of alleged cease-and-desist notices from Lucasfilm and Brown has reportedly responded with a trademark application for Lightsaber Academy, Inc.

Lucasfilm has consistently denied Defendants requests, it goes on to read. Lucasfilm has never licensed or authorized Defendants to make any commercial use of the Lucasfilm Trademarks or any other of Lucasfilms intellectual properties.

The suit demands that Brown pay the company damages and profits or potentially be required to pay $2m for every trademark infringed.

Disney Star Ross Lynch To Probably Fulfill His Destiny By Playing Serial Killer

What do kids love more than a Disney TV show about a bunch of unrealistically good-looking adults playing teenagers?

A documentary about a serial killer! The bleached blond metro kid from , Ross Lynch, is going to play a serial killer in an upcoming movie about Jeffrey Dahmer. The movie is based on a book written by a childhood friend of Dahmer’s named John “Derf” Backderf (looooooooooooool).

But what’s the scariest part of this whole situation? Ross looks EXACTLY like Jeffrey Dahmer.

He actually looks a lot like Dylan or Cole Sprouse tbh. Wow a lot.

Zack and Cody look so good, damn. Wait, does that mean Jeffrey Dahmer was hot cause he looks just like the guys? Lol fuck.

Anyway, the movie is set to come out in 2017. Hopefully it doesn’t go straight to DVD, but let’s be realistic here. I have low expectations for Disney stars making movies. Remember , Selena? Yikes.

Kendall Jenner Picks Which Disney Princess Best Describes Each Of Her Sisters!

Once upon a time, in the land of Calabasas!

On Wednesday, Kendall Jenner wrote a blog entry on her website where she describes each of her sisters as Disney princesses! How cute!

Related: Kendall Jenner Is Seeking A Muse

    The supermodel wrote:

“My sisters and I love Disney movies. We used to watch them all the time when Kylie and I were little. I never really thought about which princess I’m most like, until a friend recently told me that she’s such a Mulan, lol. It got me thinking about which characters my sisters would be from the movies (and my own personal princess, of course).”

Kenny describes Kourtney Kardashian as Jasmine from Aladdin, Kylie Jenner as Rapunzel from Tangled, Khlo Kardashian as Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Kim Kardashian as Ariel from The Little Mermaid!

On the flip side, the 20-year-old says she’s most like Tiana from The Princess and The Frog because she’s:

“smart, determined, motivated, dutiful, hardworking, funny, humble [and] respectful.”

Does this make Kris Jenner the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella?? We’d like to think so!

14 Surprising Disneyland Facts You Need To Know Before Entering The Gates

Disney has been a huge part of our culture for decades. Whether we’ve watched the movies with our friendssince we were little, or we used to take trips to one of the parks for some quality family time, there’s a little bit of Disney in all of us.

But, like most giant franchises, there are many secrets hiding underneath the fairy dust and the costumes.

Disneyland opened on July 17th, 1955. The sidewalkshadn’t dried all the way, and women’s heels were already sinking into the cementit was the start of something incredible.

All these years later, families still come together to see the attractions and have a grand old time. But I bet that even if you’ve been there countless times, you never knew these 14 secrets before.

What is your favorite little-known Disney fact? Do you know of any others that we’ve forgotten to include on our list?

    1.

Why is that? Now that’s still a mystery. Eating the shrubbery is not encouraged.

    2.

There were 18 total on the opening day, but only 14 of them have stood the test of time.
