‘Mulan’ Is Set To Be The Next Live-Action Disney Movie And We’re So Pumped

ITS HAPPENING, YOU GUYS, ITS REALLY HAPPENING: Mulan is getting a live-action film!

(This is the part whenyou freak out.)

The 1998 animated Disney film is following in the footsteps of other Disney classics such as Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid.

We recently got our first look at Emma Watsons Belle for the live-action Beauty and the Beast, which looks amazing.

And I dont want to be overdramatic or anything, but Im already prepared for this Mulan reboot to be EVEN BETTER.

According to a report from Variety, the project is being helmed by Sony Pictures and all we know about it so far is it will be filmed in China (which is definitely promising).

No word yet on casting, but we can only pray Ming-Na Wen, Lea Salonga, BD Wong and Eddie Murphy will be involved somehow.

But most importantly, Im so ready for the real-life Li Shang, you guys.

THINK OF THOSE REAL, NOT ANIMATED, RIPPLING MUSCLES TEACHING US TO BE A MAN!
